Web Design Skills

I have acquired new skills in web designing through the Word Press software. Once mastering a particular theme or plug-in, I can effectively build a website that will be clean, sharp and unified. Besides just placing an image onto a website, I am also able to change an image size, resolution, and file size to ensure it is placed effectively onto a website. Because of my sensitivity to color use, I am also able to design a website using the proper set of colors to unify not just the website, but all the imagery or whichever underlying theme is being implied. For example, my own website has an underlying theme of simplicity in order to give more emphasis to my artwork and to see each piece clearly. That is why there is a strong emphasis of a clean white background with my varied colorful pieces. In my point of view, simplicity is key and can be visually appealing or refreshing to the eye when designing a web site.
